Adelaide is such a laid-back city break
Really enjoyed the pace here. Rundle Street has great cafes and the food scene is seriously good. People are super friendly and everything feels easy to navigate. Great place to just slow down.
Brilliant wine region right on the doorstep
The Barossa Valley is only an hour from the city and the wines are incredible. We did a few cellar door tastings and the quality was just next level. The city itself is relaxed and easy to get around too. Loved it.
Perfect summer beach vibes
Glenelg Beach is absolutely lovely. Clean water, sandy shore, and a nice strip of cafes nearby. The tram ride straight from the city center is so convenient. The weather was brilliant and locals were really welcoming the whole time.
Great food city, full stop
The Central Market is a must. Cheese, fresh produce, pastries - genuinely one of the best food markets I have been to. Ate really well the whole trip without spending a fortune. Adelaide punches well above its weight for food lovers.
Loved exploring the Adelaide Hills
Took a drive up through the Adelaide Hills and the scenery was gorgeous. Cute little towns, good coffee, and amazing views back over the city. Hahndorf is worth a stop for the German food and bakeries alone. Really nice day out.
Fringe Festival was absolutely wild
The Adelaide Fringe is massive. Shows everywhere, street performers on every corner, and the Garden of Unearthly Delights was buzzing every night. Such a fun city during festival season. Cannot believe how much was packed into one place.
